Your story: We shared our story at the beginning of this web page. Would you like to share your story? Almost every one of Special Foods!TM customers has persevered through difficult circumstances that can be an inspiration and encouragement to others. We would love to share your stories.

A letter from Johnnie Brown

Recipes: At Special Foods!TM we emphasize single ingredient products because they are needed so desperately, but we hear whispers from many, that some very interesting recipes have been developed by some very creative cooks! Do you have some recipes to share with others? Send them in and we will pass them along!  

Also, how do you use our products? Do you make something (single ingredients or no) that is particularly interesting? Do you use our products in an unusual way? Please drop us a note and we will share it with others. 

Ways Special Foods!TM products have helped you: New customers especially are interested in knowing how much difference incorporating Special Foods!TM into diets can be. What better way than to be able to read messages from other customers.  

Suggestions: Are there other products that you need? Tell us about them and we will try to develop new products for you. The reason we recently went to great lengths to wrestle with water chestnut was the result of requests from our customers. The new products, water chestnut pastas and water chestnut creamed cereal, are the direct result of customer suggestions. 

We will be writing a series of articles to include in this web page that deal with some of the more personal and emotional issues of dealing with food allergies/ sensitivities/intolerances. For example how do you deal with relatives when they on the surface say they are supportive, but beneath the surface are not supportive. What is the best way to deal with schoolteachers and administrators? How to handle simultaneous issues -- power struggles with children at the same time as making much needed dietary changes. What issues/feelings are you facing? Would you like us to write something that might be helpful to you and others? Please send us your suggestions. 

Look for our first entries almost immediately, as we will begin with letters and questions and recipes we have received from customers over the years. We sincerely look forward to hearing from you!
