Milo

Milo is the only grain we have found that we feel is unusual enough for us to offer. We have agreed to offer this grain after it was requested by a number of physicians who had found it was a grain that could be tolerated by many people. Milo is also known as grain sorghum, and is found in the grass family, Gramineae. The grains are small, round, and have a sweet taste. There are about 1500 calories in one pound of milo flour. The composition of milo flour is approximately: 70.3% carbohydrate, 11% protein, 3.3% fat, 1.7% fiber, 11% water, and 1.7% minerals.
The milo grain we receive is definitely organic; we make our own flour and all the other products. Milo flour is sweeter than wheat flour, so pleasant-tasting products can be made without using a sweetener. Milo pasta has a wonderful taste.
