Testing Special Foods

If you are not sure how you might tolerate our foods and tubers are not available to you, we recommend that you order small amounts of single ingredient foods for testing. We recommend that you use either the pastas or creamed cereals for testing, because both can be prepared into good tasting products by adding only water. This reduces the number of ingredients and ensures more accurate results. The crispy cereal shreds are also good for testing. If fresh fruits are unavailable, test with one jar of the jam you wish to try. If you do well on the simple products, you should do well on the other products.

Please remember to test each food carefully, letting your own symptoms and past history guide you.
